What You'll Do in This Role
Working in Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy, you will be involved in multiple aspects of pharmacy prescription processing, including:
Using automated systems for inventory management and scanning to ensure accurate storage and recording of medicines and supplies;
Maintaining pharmacy systems and equipment, including automated sorting machines, medication meters and other technical facilities;
Supporting the packaging, labeling, proofreading and distribution of medicines to ensure accurate delivery;
Assisting in the processing of recalled drugs, inventory counting and pharmacy data maintenance and other daily tasks.
In actual operations, you also need to complete physical tasks such as moving medicine boxes, manual scanning, machine calibration, etc., and having a certain amount of physical strength is one of the necessary conditions (can carry up to 50 pounds).
